Privacy Policy

Last Updated: Apr 18, 2026

1. Overview

This Site is operated by the Site Operator. This Privacy Policy explains what data the Site collects, how the data is used, and what choices you have. The Site is built to operate with minimal personal data collection, and most visitors can browse the entire Site without providing any personally identifiable information.

2. Scope of this policy

This Privacy Policy applies to data collected through this Site only. It does not apply to data collected by any third-party survey platform you visit by clicking an outbound link from the Site. Each survey platform has its own privacy policy that governs its data practices once you leave this Site.

3. Information we collect

We do not collect your name, email address, postal address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information unless you voluntarily provide it (for example, by emailing the contact address listed at the bottom of this page). The Site does not require account creation, login, or any form submission to view content.

We do automatically collect the following technical data when you visit the Site:

  • Usage data: Pages visited, time spent on each page, referring URL, exit URL, and click events on outbound affiliate links. Collected via Google Analytics.

  • Device data: Browser type and version, operating system, device category (desktop, mobile, tablet), screen resolution, and approximate geographic region inferred from IP address. Collected via Google Analytics.

  • Cookies: First-party analytics cookies and third-party affiliate tracking cookies. See section 5 and our separate Cookie Policy for details.

4. How we collect information

Information is collected automatically through cookies, web beacons, and standard server logs as you browse the Site. We do not use device fingerprinting, cross-site tracking pixels beyond Google Analytics, or any data broker enrichment service.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use first-party analytics cookies set by Google Analytics to understand traffic patterns and improve content. We allow third-party affiliate tracking cookies set by partner survey platforms when you click an affiliate link and visit the platform. We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting cookies, social media trackers, or session-replay tools on this Site.

For full details on each cookie used, its purpose, and how to opt out, see our Cookie Policy.

6. Affiliate tracking

When you click an affiliate link on this Site, the destination platform may set a cookie in your browser to record that you arrived via our referral. If you sign up for that platform, the platform may credit us with a commission. We do not access your account on the destination platform, do not see your sign-up details, and do not receive any personally identifiable information about you from the affiliate program. We typically receive only an aggregate count of conversions and the corresponding commission amount.

7. How we use data

Collected data is used to:

  • Analyze site traffic and content engagement

  • Identify which reviews, comparisons, and country pages are most useful

  • Diagnose technical issues and improve page performance

  • Track outbound clicks to partner platforms for affiliate attribution

  • Detect and mitigate abuse, scraping, and security threats

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party for marketing purposes. We do not use your data to build advertising profiles. We do not transfer your data to data brokers.

8. Legal basis for processing (EEA / UK visitors)

For visitors located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our legal basis for processing the limited data described above is our legitimate interest in operating, securing, and improving the Site, as set out in Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. For analytics and affiliate tracking cookies, where required by law, our legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time through your browser settings or our cookie banner.

9. Data retention

Google Analytics data is retained for the default retention period configured in our analytics property (currently fourteen months) and then deleted automatically. Server logs are retained for up to ninety days for security and abuse-detection purposes. Affiliate-attribution cookies are subject to the retention period set by the destination platform, typically thirty to ninety days.

10. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the processing of personal data we hold about you. You may also have the right to object to certain processing or to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Because we collect very little personally identifiable data, in most cases there will be no individual record to access. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the email address at the bottom of this page.

11. International data transfers

Google Analytics may transfer technical data to servers located outside your country, including the United States. Where required by law, these transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission. Affiliate platforms operate their own international transfer arrangements, set out in their respective privacy policies.

12. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymized traffic data. Google may process this data in accordance with its own privacy policy and the data-processing terms applicable to Google Analytics customers. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, or block analytics cookies through your browser settings.

13. Children's privacy

This Site is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under that age. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Site, contact us and we will delete it.

14. Security

The Site is served over HTTPS. Server-level access is restricted to a small operations team. Because we do not collect account data, payment data, or other sensitive personal information, the security surface for visitor data is intentionally narrow. No system is perfectly secure, and we make no guarantee that no breach will ever occur.

15. Do Not Track

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no universal industry standard for how websites should respond to this signal. We currently do not change our cookie behavior based on a Do Not Track header. You can control cookies directly through your browser settings or our cookie banner.

16. Third-party links

This Site contains links to third-party survey platforms, blog posts, and informational sources. Once you click through to a third-party site, this Privacy Policy no longer applies. The third party's own privacy policy applies to any data they collect.

17. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be flagged at the top of the page for at least thirty days following the update. Continued use of the Site after updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.

18. Contact

Questions about this Privacy Policy or any data we hold about you? Email the Site Operator at [email protected]. Privacy-related inquiries are routed to a human reviewer and answered within a reasonable timeframe.
